'It is thought the bank has taken out indemnity insurance', what a ridiculas statement, of course they have, if they have not then they should not be in business as a financial institution. But if you look at their performance under Goodwin, they are not capable of operating as a financial institution, so they may have not.
Even if they have, this would not cover any costs relating to Goodwin, as he is now a private individual.
He should be thrown to the wolves, as he financially more then capable of looking after himself. Pity he could not have been as astute in looking after the interests of the banks customers.
